ZHS Ch. 4 Doctor's Entry 2

This morning was the most strangest sight I had happened to come upon while studying my current patient. This morning I heard the loud sound of a repeating banging noise, coming right from the lobby of the facility. I woke up from my slumber to check what this abominable noise was at this godforsaken hour.
Apparently, to my visualities can observe, the patient was repeatedly banging his interwoven fists upon the ground, and continued to bang his fists upon the ground even as I called for the guards. We had to subdue his actions with a few potions fed to him by needle, and then, still the patient was so delirious that we had to restrain him against his bed in order to keep him from continuing his violent abuse to his hands.
Two full hours passed before I could get close to examine the patient's hands. Upon examination I found that the patient had brutally beaten the top few layers of flesh from his knuckles and the base of the back of his fingers, and should be expecting sensitivity to wind in those areas. I have also found he has broken the middle knuckle of his left hand, and the ring knuckle of his right hand. I have secured them in a proper healing postion to avoid disfigurement.
I have began pondering the patient's thusfar mentality. At first I had thought that he had no mental ailments at the first of the weeks. I wonder what kind of stress that I may have caused that would've caused such rash behavior in my patient. I must speak to him in order to learn about his mind immediately, but first; sleep. It's dreadfully early in the morning.
